The Loud and Proud Choir, Dorking ready for a performance

** Important Notice. **

Dear Loud & Proud Members

In light of the fast and ever evolving coronavirus situation and the priority to safeguard the well-being of our members, their families, friends and our community the Loud & Proud Choir Committee has taken the decision to suspend choir rehearsals from now until further notice.

We will keep in touch with you all over the next few weeks so keep an eye out for communications. The state of the choir and how / when we can meet is being kept under constant review as it is not clear how things will move on.

In the meantime we advise all members to stay safe and follow the Government / Health Department advice:

https://www.gov.uk/government/topical-events/coronavirus-covid-19-uk-government-response

https://www.gov.uk/guidance/coronavirus-covid-19-information-for-the-public

We look forward to regrouping in person soon.

Welcome to Dorking Loud and Proud Community Choir:

Dorking Loud & Proud is a friendly community choir for all ages and abilities. There is no audition required, just the love and enjoyment of singing - you don't even need to read music! We are tutored by an experienced choral director and we meet Wednesday evenings 7.30pm - 9pm, during term time, at St John's C of E Community Primary School, Goodwyns Road, Dorking, RH4 2LR.

We have a varied repertoire from rock, pop and musical theatre to world, jazz and contemporary songs. We enjoy performing at a variety of different places both at events such as "Choiroke" (where choirs from across Surrey and Sussex perform) and also within the community as well.

To sustain our choir into the future we request a voluntary weekly donation.
